First century of the Cross Country Challenge is complete! Actually, we did 108 miles to be exact.
Although the views were beautiful throughout the ride, there is not too much to report. The ride was basically 100 miles on my new best friend, I-80. The other 8 miles were comprised of a stretch on Business Route 80 (parallel to the interstate), and a couple of turns off of exit 410 that allowed us get to our hotel and casino.
Please take a look at my photos from the day to get an idea of what I was fortunate enough to see all day.
I apologize for the brevity of this post, but the casino downstairs has Celtics pre-game and the Red Sox game, and I want to take advantage of watching both. It's not exactly my father's "man cave," but it'll do.

I noticed You did not mention the mirrored ceilings , shag carpet or funky hallways...... Good food there as I recall.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the ride across the salt flats tomorrow.... You will experience the magic mountain that magically seems to keep. Moving back as you pedal for hours towards it.
Enjoy rest day after it and ride safe
The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack in will.
